This visionary folk art environment
is the single-handed work of
self-taught senior citizen
Tressa “Grandma” Prisbrey.
Wandering through this website you are bound to become enlightened, inspired and entertained by a remarkably inventive woman and her famous creation. Located in Simi Valley, California, Bottle Village is a fanciful wonderland crafted from castoff materials. Appealing to all age groups and admired by art scholars across the world, Bottle Village is a one-third acre site covered with an assemblage of shrines, wishing wells, mosaic walks, structures and follies constructed primarily from discarded glass bottles.
Tour Schedule 2016:
Check our Facebook page for updated information on tours.
Due to the predicted severity of the El Nino storms we have taken measures to protect the property and this has caused us to close it for all tours. Weather granting, we will begin touring again in May, 2016. If you would like to help with our "emergency stabilization" then please go to our GoFundMe page (and make sure that the link works so that by clicking on this it will take them to the GoFundMe page please). ALL donations are greatly appreciated and we look forward to seeing you in the Spring. Thank you for your continued support and interest in Bottle Village!
